Message Florida law will drop the hammer on you and like Ash said they can take your car. We had a few high profile accidents and deaths in Central Florida over the last 10 years. A guy I knew hit a utility pole at 80 back in the late 90s and his girlfriend got to watch him slowly die. It was very high profile. That pretty much killed it for my generation.

Also, Florida law can hold you responsible for any deaths or injuries that occur while you commit a crime. So if you race someone and they hit a car and kill those people, you wil be charged with murder or at the very least manslaughter. It happened a few years back and the other driver was convicted.

I have a wife and child and view things very differently nowadays.
